Overview

Voicepad Pro is a Chrome extension that provides real-time audio transcription. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data flows through our service.

Audio & Transcription Data

We do not store, process, or have access to your audio or transcriptions.

Your audio streams directly from your browser to your chosen transcription provider (Deepgram or AWS Transcribe). The extension acts as a bridge—audio never passes through our servers. Your transcription data is handled entirely by the provider you configure, subject to their respective privacy policies.

What We May Collect

We may collect basic telemetry data to improve the extension:

• Extension version and browser type
• Feature usage statistics (which features are used, not content)
• Error reports to help fix bugs

This telemetry never includes audio content, transcription text, or your API credentials.

Your Credentials

API keys and credentials you provide are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API. They are only used to authenticate with your chosen transcription provider and are never transmitted to us.

When you use Voicepad Pro, your audio is sent directly to your configured provider:
