By installing and using Voicepad Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Voicepad Pro is a Chrome extension that provides real-time audio transcription using third-party services.

2. Beta Software

Voicepad Pro is currently in beta. The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and bugs may occur. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we improve the product.

3. Use of Service

You may use Voicepad Pro for personal and commercial transcription purposes. You agree to:

• Provide your own API credentials for transcription providers
• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension maliciously
• Not use the service for any illegal or harmful purposes

4. Third-Party Services

Voicepad Pro relies on third-party transcription providers (Deepgram, AWS Transcribe). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and pricing. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or costs of these third-party services.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and transcribe any audio. This includes obtaining consent from participants where required by law. You are also responsible for securing your API credentials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voicepad Pro and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
